CHIEF MINING ENGINEER

Shanoon Resources invites applications to fill the position of Chief Mining Engineer at its Galmoy operation in Kilkenny, Ireland. This position requires an experienced, underground mining engineer whose responsibilities will include oversight and contribution to short and long-term mine planning, ventilation, long-hole blasting, geotechnics and water ingress management. The candidate will be required to work with contract miners and lead a Mine Planning team. The operation is a re-activation of a closed mine with mixed mining methods. The candidate must adhere to all safety and statutory regulations and strive to implement industry best practices.
